Introduction
Runnit brings planning, project delivery, files, people, and AI-assisted work into one system. You can start with a rough brief, turn it into a resource plan, create a live project, and manage the work without moving information between separate tools.
The usual workflow
Section titled “The usual workflow”- Set up your organisation. Add clients, team members, access, rates, capacity, and brand material.
- Create a project. Start with Brief Builder for a guided planning flow, or create an empty draft project for manual setup.
- Build the brief. Add context, answer guidance questions, attach files, and refine the draft.
- Review the resource plan. Check roles, people or agents, tasks, hours, dates, availability, cost, and budget.
- Activate the project. Runnit creates the project structure, adds the team, and schedules the planned tasks.
- Manage delivery. Update tasks, timelines, team access, files, costs, and project history from the live project.
- Use chat and Studio. Ask the page-aware assistant for help, or build custom pages, widgets, and forms on top of the same data.
Where to go next
Section titled “Where to go next”- Read Design Philosophy to understand why shared data sits at the centre of the product.
- Follow Set Up Runnit before creating your first live project.
- Go straight to Creating Projects if your organisation is already configured.
- Use the Developer docs for APIs, MCP, and custom agent work.
You do not need to configure every advanced feature before starting. Set up the people, client, access, and planning information needed for your first project, then add more as your workflow develops.
