Kanban & Gantt
The Briefs page offers three ways to look at your work: a Grid, a Kanban board, and a Gantt timeline. Switch between them with the view toggle, and your choice is remembered the next time you return.
Kanban board
Section titled “Kanban board”The Kanban board lays out your briefs and projects in columns by status, so you can see the shape of your pipeline at a glance. Both briefs and projects appear on the same board.
- The board scrolls horizontally, staying usable on smaller screens.
- Drag a card from one column to a compatible column to update its status. The change applies straight away.
- Click any card to open its detail view.
- Archived and cancelled projects are hidden from the board to keep it focused on active work.
Default columns
Section titled “Default columns”When no custom columns have been set up, the board uses these defaults:
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Planning | Draft briefs and draft projects. |
| In Progress | Activated briefs and active projects. |
| Internal Review | Projects in internal review. |
| Client Review | Projects in client review. |
| Done | Completed projects. |
Columns that share the same name are merged automatically, so a single Planning column can show both draft briefs and draft projects together.
Customising columns
Section titled “Customising columns”Organisation admins can tailor the board with the Manage Columns button, which appears in the Kanban view. From there you can:
- Rename columns to match your team’s language.
- Hide or show columns.
Changes apply across your whole organisation. If your organisation hasn’t customised its columns, the sensible defaults above are used.
Gantt timeline
Section titled “Gantt timeline”The Gantt view plots one bar per brief or project on a timeline, using the same styling as the timeline on the project detail page. Click any bar to jump straight to that item’s detail view.
