E-Invoicing
E-invoicing sends structured invoice data to a client’s accounting system over the Peppol network. It requires a configured production connection, an enabled billing entity and an enabled client billing profile.
Check an invoice
Section titled “Check an invoice”Open Finance > Invoices, then open the invoice. The E-invoicing section shows Not enabled when network delivery is unavailable or switched off for that invoice. You can still choose Email invoice, Download PDF or share its Client link. See Invoices.
Turning on a billing entity or client setting alone does not establish a network connection. Ask your administrator about availability for your organisation.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”Reading e-invoicing details requires finance:view_invoices or
finance:manage_settings. Changing billing entity and client settings requires
finance:manage_settings. Network submission requires
finance:issue_invoices, and recovery controls require
finance:manage_integrations.
Issued invoices keep their original details
Section titled “Issued invoices keep their original details”Network details are saved when an invoice is issued. An invoice issued without those details cannot become eligible simply by switching e-invoicing on later. If you need to replace it for network delivery, review the correction with your finance team and issue a credit note and replacement invoice.
Delivery status
Section titled “Delivery status”When a production connection is available and the invoice is eligible, the panel shows validation problems and network delivery history. Provider accepted means the sending service accepted the document. It is separate from confirmation that the recipient received it. Review any rejection before retrying.
Email delivery has its own status under Email delivery. A network status does not mean an email was sent, or vice versa.
